Delete your Noma account
Noma keeps your budget on your phone. An account only exists if you set up sync with a partner — it is created when you create an invite or join one. It holds an anonymous id, a few technical details about your phone, and an encrypted copy of your shared budget that we can't read.
Delete from the app (fastest)
Settings → Couple Sync → Sync → Delete account. Your account is deleted at once.
Delete without the app
Enter the deletion code shown under Delete account on the Sync screen. The account is deleted 7 days later unless you cancel in the app.
No app and no code?
An account whose phone hasn't synced for about six months is deleted automatically. You don't need to do anything.
What is deleted, and what is kept
Deleted: your anonymous account id, your place in the couple and your deletion code. Your phone's sign-in token stops working.
Kept: the encrypted shared budget stays on our server while your partner still uses it, including transactions you entered, and their phone keeps what it already synced — the server copy is deleted when the last member of the couple leaves. Nightly encrypted backups expire after 30 days. A record of your phone (a random device id, its platform and app version) can remain for a short while — only until your partner's next sync or until an open invite expires. Your own budget stays on your device.
We keep no name, email or phone number. More in the privacy policy.
